Who we Are
We are a group of health workers and learners that have come together in solidarity with Palestine and the Palestinian people driven by principles of social and environmental justice and liberation of oppressed people everywhere. Our group includes Palestinians and allies of different ethnic, cultural, and religious backgrounds
Our Principles
- We recognize that the unacceptable state of poor health of Palestinians is a direct result of settler colonialism and occupation.
- We support the right of the Palestinian people for self-determination.
- We stand in opposition to apartheid.
- We believe advancing human rights and social justice empowers Palestinians to lead healthy lives.
- We support BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) as called for by Palestinian civil society.
- As an organization based in the settler colonial state of Canada, we recognize our responsibility to uplift struggles for Indigenous sovereignty in Turtle Island as we work to amplify struggles for Palestinian liberation. We recognize the importance of remaining in direct opposition to settler colonial violence from Turtle Island to Palestine
